For a long time people have described me as whimsical. Sometimes it goes like this, "Ooh, you're so whimsical!". At other times it's more, "Ugh, you're so (insert expletive) whimsical!".
If you're in the "Ugh" category, this will not be the blog for you.
For the "Ooh's" out there, this blog will be a mix of anything and everything that I find interesting or that catches my eye. They'll be reviews of lunch venues, mentions of Enid Blyton, pictures of antiques and books with cool covers, who knows. It's the search for things or places that just make you feel a bit P.G. Wodehouse.
Whimsicality isn't the same as cutesy. If you're looking for kittens in bows you'll be looking for a long time. Whimsical for me is a mix of nostalgia, mischievousness, cool stationery, and besides, I'm definitely a dog person.

PS: A warning - whimsicality can backfire. As I type, I have a small terrier on my lap because I thought it would be cute. I gave her a biscuit, (even cuter!). In the course of eating said biscuit, she's drooled all over my laptop and shirt. Beware the dangers of whimsy!
